Surreal

Originating in the 20th Century surrealism’s definition is of the fantastic, unreal, disorienting, hallucinatory quality of a dream. A style of art and literature developed, stressing the subconscious or nonrational significance of imagery arrived at by automatism or the exploitation of chance effects, unexpected juxtapositions. Artists widely known for their surreal imagery are Salvidor Dali, Man Ray, Pablo Picasso, Frida Kahlo and Max Ernst to name but a few. Ponder through if you dare!
